THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE Releases Double Best Albums ‘16 SOUL’ & ‘16 PRAY’

16-member Japanese group, THE RAMPAGE from EXILE TRIBE, has released their first double Best Albums, ‘16SOUL’ and ‘16PRAY’.

‘16SOUL’ and ‘16PRAY’ reflect THE RAMPAGE's dynamic range and artistic depth, celebrating their journey from their debut in 2017 to their present status as icons in the Japanese music and entertainment industry. The release of these albums coincides with the seventh anniversary of their major label debut, making it a perfect tribute to their incredible journey, as well as to the fans who have been part of it.

Comprising of 17 songs each, both albums have been curated to feature THE RAMPAGE's evolution throughout the years. To celebrate this, fans played a crucial role in shaping these albums earlier this year in September, through a voting process of selecting 16 tracks from THE RAMPAGE’s discography to be featured in each album.

'16 PRAY' will include singles such as MY PRAYER’, ‘Seasons and Only One being labelled as UP BEST. It will also feature the group’s recent lead single release, ‘STARRY LOVE.

'16 SOUL' will include mid-tempo and ballad songs released by the group from their debut such as ‘100 Degrees’, ‘LA FIESTA’, ‘SILVER RAIN and SWAG & PRIDE being labelled as MID & BALLADE BEST, up to the group’s latest releases ‘Summer Riot ~Nettaiya~ / Everest’. ‘SWAG & PRIDE’ was one of the soundtracks for the HiGH&LOW movie franchise and has amassed over 14 million views on YouTube to date.

Additionally, fans were asked to vote for an older song from THE RAMPAGE, from which a brand-new music video would be filmed and released. The winning track was the group’s 2017 single ‘Can’t Say Goodbye’. The music video delves into the complex emotions associated with a past summer romance that has come to an end. Through poignant visuals and performances, THE RAMPAGE captures the bittersweet essence of longing and nostalgia, reminding viewers of the vibrant memories and warm feelings that linger long after the season has passed.

True to their name, THE RAMPAGE delivers a visually stunning and choreographically intricate music video for 'Can't Say Goodbye'. The song holds a special place in the hearts of fans, having been voted #1 in the tracklist for '16 PRAY' through a fan voting process. Additionally, it was the most voted previously released song without a music video, making its new visual treatment a highly anticipated event for fans worldwide. The music video for 'Can't Say Goodbye' adds an emotional depth to this milestone, offering fans a reflective and nostalgic glimpse into THE RAMPAGE's journey thus far, and further solidifying their status as one of Japan's top music acts.
